“High on a mountain, a lonely tree and a fierce young eagle discover the power of friendship.”
The Last Pine Tree on Eagle Mountain, is a children’s musical about courage and the natural world. It tells the story of the bond between an ancient pine tree and a young eagle looking for companionship and security in a world threatened by pollution.
Mr. Green, a grumpy man in the city park, meets Frankie, a spirited kid who dreams of becoming a champion. Through play and imagination, they transform into Pine Tree and Eagle on Eagle Mountain, where a fable unfolds: the last pine tree longs for family, and a lonely eagle seeks safety. Together they confront storms, hunters, and pollution, learning to trust one another and to care for the earth they share.
Blending humor, music, and interactive storytelling, the musical invites young audiences to join in the action—chirping like eaglets, making wind sounds, and helping the forest come alive.
The Last Pine Tree on Eagle Mountain has been performed throughout New York City’s schools and libraries, including a performance at the NYC 5th Ave Library for Earth Day 2012.
